Russ took a day off school and we went to the zoo. We had so much fun. It wasn't busy and the weather was perfect!! There were so many fun animals there.
Wyatt could not get enough of this Lion. (There are two in this pictures, can you find them both??)
This leopard just kept pacing back and forth, it was hard to get a picture of him because he just would not hold still.
The Giraff habitat was awesome (way better than that crappy cement barn at the Hogle Zoo) plus there was a pond of Koi surrounding it and the kids loved watching the fish.
They are working on up dating their bear habitats, so all they had were these black bears. Did you know that PA has more black bears than any other state?? Explains why one just walked right into the downtown Pittsburgh Mall and stopped at the donut shop.
We didn't get any pictures of the Aquarium, but we got an annual pass so I'm sure we will get some at a future visit.
This Zoo also has a baby elephant and what do you know, her name is Zuri too!!
They also have a baby Rhino, but it wasn't out for viewing yet, so we are excited to get a peak at that little guy soon.

You're totally right, the giraffe place at the Hogle Zoo is not that great.
