Happy 4th Birthday Cody

I cannot believe it has already been 4 years since we had Cody. This kid is just getting too big too fast!!
He is such a funny little character and he keeps me busy. He is such a good big brother. He is always so concerned about Wyatt and making sure he is happy and safe. If we ever leave Wyatt behind with Daddy and run somewhere, Cody is extremely anxious to get home because it just doesn't feel right without Wyatt. Of course they get into their little spats, but he makes sure nobody else messes with his little brother.
Cody LOVES to be outside and anything to do with it. Camping, 4 wheeling and even just playing outside with his friends.
From the time Cody was very little (as with most little boys) he has been obsessed with what we call "mighty machine." This encompasses all tractors and heavy machinery. So I thought this cake would be perfect for him!!

He was pretty excited, but mostly just wanted the toy mighty machines off of it.

He blew out his candles in one blow!!
All the neighbor kids were obsessed with the chocolate rocks. Kind of glad for that because the stupid things cost me a small fortune to have shipped here from who knows where. But is was so worth it. I was so excited with how the cake turned out!!
Cody got Cowboy boots (which he has not yet taken off) and toy airplanes from his Grandma and Grandpa Flint
A Hot Wheels track from Grandma and Grandpa Rogers
A "spinny bike" from Mom and Dad. That was actually a sad story, the first one we ordered would not spin, piece of garbage. So we had to take it back and order another one. Good thing it only took a couple of days to get here. Talk about disappointment when your bday present is crap!! He handled it really well though.
From friends he got a baseball glove and ball and some school supplies (the scissors being his absolute favorite!!)
He also got new shoes, some preschool workbooks and a new outfit to wear.

On Cody's birthday they just so happened to be paving the road in front of our house. So he got to spend a long time watching these mighty machines at work. Talk about a dream come true for this little boy!!
Also, we went to Chic-fil-a for lunch on his birthday. He picked it because he loves the play place there.
Wyatt has to do everything his big brother does, so we had to take a picture of his cute little mug too!!
He's a pretty spoiled boy, but we sure love him and were so excited to celebrate his special day.

That is such a fun day for the stud muffin Cody. I can't believe those rocks. We had some on our nauvoo trip, they were tasty chocolate nuggets. :) CUTE cake MOMMA!
