Tricks and Treats

Hurricane Sandy postponed Halloween this year. We actually did the ward Trunk or Treat a week before Halloween and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!! We wore T-shirts it was so warm. Well that all ended a few short days later when Sandy hit. We didn't get anything too crazy as far as the weather, it just rained for 6 days straight with absolutely no break and we have yet to see the sun re-appear. It has been bitter cold, so all of the neighborhoods in our area decided to wait until today to do trick or treating.

We spent the day making the kids vacuum the couches. Just kidding, it's their favorite and Cody loves to do it every day.

 We went and had dinner with the neighbors and then started trick or treating.
Our neighborhood is the bomb when it comes to Halloween. People sit out in their driveway with fires going, handing out hot chocolate (with a little alcohol on the side to add to it if you'd like),  and passing out full size candy bars to the kids.

 This is the candy Cody scored. His bag was so full and so heavy he couldn't even carry it by the end.

 Wyatt did pretty well too.

 My cute little bug was pretty tired by the end, he just wanted to get home out of the cold.

I was really glad that we could wait to trick or treat until the weather got a little bit better, otherwise we would have just missed out on trick or treating because it was SO COLD on halloween, it even snowed a little bit.
