The night before the 4th of July Russ and Cody decided to sleep out in the tent in our "backyard." They got the tent all set up with sleeping bags, pillows, air mattress, flashlights and everything they could possibly need. The anticipation was killing Cody, he could not wait for it to be bedtime so that they could go out and sleep in the tent. At 7 pm he was telling us how tired of a boy he was. Around 9pm Russ finally gave in and they made their way out to the tent. Cody was thrilled!!

Unfortunately it started storming REALLY bad around midnight so they had to abandon camp and come inside and sleep in the front room.
The next morning we got together with our friends and neighbors and had a very YUMMY breakfast. By time that was over it was already HOT so we decided to pull out the slip and slide and have water fights.
Wyatt wasn't very good at going down by himself, he needed a little push, but he loved it!!
Cody did pretty good.
It was a huge hit, all the kids loved it.
I'll have to add the rest of the pictures later. I was too busy wrestling children during fire works to take pictures, but I think my neighbor did so I'll get some from her.

That is hilarious to me, that your kids run through the sprinklers in there undies! Hahah!!! We had a slip n slide at Brynlee's party, too bad we don't have a hill, that would make it even more fun!
